Blackmagic Design makes cameras dedicated to video production, and the Pocket Cinema series cameras are pro-level tools for serious shooters who need high performance in a small but highly capable package. The new Pocket Cinema 6K is just that: A 6K video camera with the feature set of much larger, more complex cinema rigs. Why 6K? It allows for much more flexibility in post production of ultimate 4K final cuts. The 6K natively accepts Canon EF lenses (the same ones used on Canon DSLRs) and features a full HD widescreen rear touch panel for ultimate control. While the 6K has four built-in mics, it also accepts external mics and XLR mics with a Blackmagic adapter. Keep in mind the price is for the camera body only; lenses are not included.
